Yes. Resume review and editing is included in all major packages, either asynchronously or via face-to-face sessions depending on your choice.

Asynchronous vs. Full-Service Admissions Consulting

8. What’s the difference between asynchronous and face-to-face consulting?

  • Asynchronous: You send us drafts via email, and we return detailed comments and edits. This option allows limited rounds of revisions, unless you opt for the Infinite Package.

  • Full-Service/Face-to-Face (virtual): Our most premium option, you'll meet with a consultant over Zoom or Google Meet to brainstorm, strategize, and refine your materials in real time. Asynchronous help is available but not mandatory. With full-service consulting, we are happy to provide face-to-face assistance with every element of your application from day one until your package ends.

9. Can I combine asynchronous and face-to-face support?
Yes. Our Hybrid Package was designed for that. It gives you unlimited asynchronous edits plus four live sessions to use however you’d like.

Timelines & Process

10. When should I start working with an admissions consultant?

The earlier, the better. Most students begin 3–6 months before applications open, but we also work with students on tighter timelines. Even if you’re applying in just a few weeks, we can help.

11. Do you help with school list building?
Absolutely. We’ll work with you to create a balanced school list tailored to your GPA, LSAT, and career goals. This includes reach, target, and safety schools.

12. Can you help if I already wrote drafts of my essays?
Absolutely. Many students come to us with partial or complete drafts. We provide detailed feedback, editing, and strategy to make sure your essays are as strong as possible.

13. What if I haven’t started my essays yet?
That’s fine too. We’ll guide you from the brainstorming stage to final polished drafts, so you don’t need to have anything prepared in advance.

Special Situations

14. Do I need to be aiming for a T-14 law school or have top stats to work with JurisPrep?

Not at all. While many of our clients apply to and attend T-14 schools, we work with students across the full spectrum of GPA and LSAT scores. Our focus is on helping you maximize your potential and secure the best possible outcomes given your unique profile. That might mean earning a scholarship at a regional school, targeting a strong T-30 program, or reaching for the T-14 — it depends on your goals.

15. Can you help if I’m already a strong applicant aiming for a top school?

Yes. Even if you have high stats, admissions to T-14 schools are extremely competitive and holistic. We help strong applicants refine their personal statements, highlight unique aspects of their background, and position themselves strategically across multiple applications. Many of our top-scoring clients work with us to secure acceptances at elite schools and maximize scholarship offers.

16. Do you help with addenda (GPA, LSAT, or disciplinary issues)?
Yes. We specialize in crafting concise and strategic addenda to explain academic dips, LSAT retakes, or character & fitness disclosures.

17. Can you help with waitlist or deferral requests?
Yes. Both are included in the Unlimited Package. We’ll help you draft letters of continued interest, negotiate deferrals, and strengthen your candidacy while you wait.

18. Do you provide interview prep?
Yes. Interview prep is included in the Unlimited Package and can be available as an add-on for others. We’ll coach you on both traditional and “Why this law school?” style interviews, and will give school-specific advice as well!

Results & Experience

19. Who are your consultants?
All JurisPrep consultants are experienced law school applicants who have been through the process successfully themselves. All are current students at or graduates of top law schools.

20. What kind of results do your clients achieve?
100% of our admissions consulting clients have been accepted to law school, and all of our full-service admissions consulting clients have received full-tuition scholarships to T-100 law schools.

Testimonials

Fintan, Northwestern Law

Working with JurisPrep was the best decision I made as a law school applicant. My coach helped me write unique essays that both showed my personality and made clear, moving arguments about why I wanted to go to law school that I believe made a significant difference in my admissions results. I was guided through all aspects of the application cycle, from deciding where to apply, to preparing for interviews, to the end of my cycle, where I received valuable help negotiating for scholarship money. With JurisPrep's help, I was able to gain admittances to five T14 law schools, with offers varying from just under half tuition to almost whole tuition at one institution.  This is not to mention the multiple T40 full-ride offers I received, and waitlist offers at additional T14s. Finally, the free LSAT sessions that came with my purchase of the highest package were extremely helpful in increasing my understanding of the exam after passing 170. To anyone considering working with this company, I give my whole-hearted endorsement.
